ACTUS Financial Research Foundation has been selected from Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to participate in the Rapid Phased Prototyping sponsored by FDIC.
ACTUS will propose and demonstrate the means by which the FDIC can receive more timely and granular data regarding the financial contracts and counterparties on the balance sheets of their 4,700 member banks.
The goal is to anticipate, and mitigate, potential problems with member banks or the system as a whole in time for the FDIC to take effective action.
